Erykah Badu - "Gone Baby, Don't Be Long"

The first of supposedly many collaborations between Erykah Badu and Flying Lotus. Solid.

Jeff McClellan - "Swim"

This is a recently composed piece of mine for piano trio.

Here's the program note:
Swim was inspired by frequent solo outings in chilly Georgian Bay throughout the summer of 2010. Sensations of peace, awe, loneliness, clarity, and minuteness were common and, subsequently, through musical interpretation, became compositional materials to be used in the piece. The music explores mostly lyrical and colouristic styles in its gradual development, with contrary motion and voice overlap used to gauge depth and buoyancy, respectively.
